Works perfect with the RELOADED release.

Download rar.
Unzip to your My Document\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder.
Start game.
At main menu screen, click on Downloads tab, select all, and click install.
Takes a few minutes to install all addons and you're good to go.

everything installs using the download manager but the Riverview town. it's telling me about the error in the log file but I can't seem to find the log file. I must have missed something but can't seem to find out what that might be...

Not sure why you're getting the error. My download installed perfectly. Went to start a new game and both cities are listed for me to play on. I choose Riverview and played away.

I mistakenly copied a file instead of letting it install itself. everything else installed fine. once I deleted the copied file and reinstalled it, it took.

If you read the comments you will see that this has worked for both the beta (or pre-release) versions put out there by razor911 and RELOADED.

That's because you let the launcher get to the internet I think you need to get a different firewall, I recommend comodo

No Viruses, All Work, even Riverside.
All you do is unzip it... open up the Sims 3 launcher, go the 'Download' section, then individually click on each one that you downloaded, when you finished em all, just check the box and click install. they should instal, then your done. Amazing speed too. I went up to 1.2mb/s and I am one of those people who have sucky settings... =D

Just for note the files are are named in Russian. So I made a new file in: Electronic Arts->Sims 3 called 'Downloads'. I then extracted all of the files there. Whenever I click on them it says:

I installed the game already and inserted the serial that came with the version I downloaded and I opened the download page and clicked on each of the add ons. They are on the list and when I click Install, The serial box keeps popping back up saying invalid code and wont let me install. Help please! Thanks!

Here's what i did.

1. After downloading Unzip the file
2. After unzipping the file, open the folder and copy the files that are inside the folder.
3. Go to you're documents and locate a folder named Electronic Arts.
4. Double click Electronic arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads.
5. Paste the files that you just copied here.
6. Run the Sims 3 Launcher and click download. You should see a couple of items listed, just tick the box and download. Doesn't matter if you have an Original version or a Copied versions of the sims.

I sure hope this works! Happy gaming everyone!

Alright, here is my experience with this torrent:

I had it working perfectly fine on the Reloaded version of The Sims 3 (Version: 1.0.615).

I followed the instructions here: http://digitalmemo.neobie.net/2009/07/16/sims-3-10615-to-127-update

This updated it to 1.2.7

Then I updated the game to the latests patch 1.8.25

All of the addons were not working. I have tried reinstalling them, removing any related files, using 3rd party addon managers but I still can not get them to work.

What happens is that I can see them all listed in the Downloads section, selecting them appears to isntall them but then they all become unticked as soon as the install goes through.

Update on my findings:

Going through with my steps and then doing a manual update to the 1.7.9 patch instead of the 1.8.25 will allow you to continue using the extra addons. I had problems with them on the latest 1.8.25 patch. Hope this information is useful to someone.
